The ceremony was a very quiet one owing to a bereavement in the bride’s family,and only several of the very intimate friends were present. Mrs. Edwards gave her daugh ter away”, and the maid of honor was miss Nellie Weed, of Pitts field, M.iss. George Ingram was the best man. The wedding was rather a sudden one, as the bride had intended leaving Monday for Walterboro, 8.O., to visit her f randparents, Col.and Mrs. John >. Edwards, but was/prevailed upon by the groom to bo married at once instead of later in the summer as at first intendsd. Mr. and Mrs Gabel left on tie •vening tram for Ocala, where they will make their home. Mr. Gabel being connected with A. Brown 6 Oo., there. ^ The bride looked very charm ing in a dainty hand made white lingerie gown with white hat and gloves, and her flowers were a very large bouquet of sweet poas. Bright and winning in per sonality sho is very highly thought of by all who know her.
