The building is not only attractive in appearance, but it is a model of convenience xis well. The building is brick veneer, and while the main portion of the old wooden structure is used, the entire building is new. The interior has been thoroughly overhauled, and many new Sunday school rooms have been added. The Sunday school department now has 14 class rooms. The pastor, Rev. 11. Haydoe k and the members of the church are happy over the result attained. More than $10,000 has been expended in the building, and there is a debt of only $2,500 now resting upon them. The members say this will not long hang over them. Many of the members not only contributed money, but labor as well. The pastor himself did the painting, and it is well done. The saving of several thousand dollars was effected by means of labor contributed. The building presents quite a handsome appearance, and to build ; outright under contract, it would cost, we judge, something like $20,000. Already a nice "cw carpet has been ordered and it is tin' purpose of the congregation to instsill new seats at an early day. The entire building is steam heated, and new stained glass windows have been put in. The subject of the demonstration will be the principles of bread-making and Mrs. J. M. Little will demonstrate making bread and rolls. This is somewhat unusual inasmuch as Mrs. Little has consented to give this particular demonstration. She is an experienced bread maker and no lady in that community can afford to stay away. By special request Miss Smith, county home demonstration agent, will meet the ladies in Mt. Tabor community Wednesday, April 26th, for the purpose of organizing a home demonstration club. This meeting will be held at the home of Mrs. Pink Scott. After the organization is perfected Miss Smith will demonstrate the making of gingham hats.
