Willis, a former Union man, congratulating us on the service we have put on. We quote from his letter: ''I understand you have the Associated Press service now and I wish to ice. Hope the peopie ?j"ii<On c.llu' vicinity will stick by you, help you double the circulation. With this serv- , ice vou can give them as good a paper ] as it is possible to net anywhere and incidentally a paper has to be all right j in every respect before the Associated Press will take them on. I am back with the A. P. now?was with them several months in Lynchburg, and am back home now with the Greenville News." The above letter is highly appreciated by The Times. Mr. Willis is an expert operator and knows what it means to have a service such as we are giving. It will be remembered that Mr. Willis married Miss Agnes Love of this city and was a resident of this place for some time. Kelton Mrs. It. B. Bailey, who underwent a very serious operation at Steed ly's hospital, is improving nicely. She has many friends who are wishing her a speedy recovery. Mrs. W. N. Garner, who has been sick So long, is growing worse every day. This is sad news to her many friends for she is loved by all who know her. Mr. and Mrs. Joe lnman spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. Tony Procton, of Wilkinsville. Misses Susie Hames and Marie Austin from Lockhart, Misses Almond and Brynton Erword and Marien Smith from Hickory Grove spent Sunday with Miss Madge Farr* Miss Christine Inman and Otis Garner spent Sunday with Miss Mildred Inman. Whitney Farr and This writer had the pleasure of attending a picnicgiven at the honic of Miss Ruth Inman, of Wilkinsville, Saturday and oh my, correspondents, you should have been there! They sure did have a fine dinner, and everyone seemed to enjoy the occasion. I wonder how many of the corresponents are going, on the picnic? I am sorry I cannot he with you.
