Registration Regulations.

Provided, That those persons regis-,
tered under the provisions of this act j
shall be placed at the bottom of the j
list of those liable for military ser- t
vice in the several classes to which.
they are assigned, under such rules j,
and regulations as the president may, j
prescribe. (
3. Persons required to register. .
All male persons, citizens of the (
United States, and all male person? j.
residing in the United States, who
have, since the 5th day of June. ]
1917, and on or before the day set j s
for registration by the President's j1
proclamation, attained tne age ot 211
years, must register. The only ex-' f
ceptions are persons in the military I <
or naval service of the United States, 1 j
which includes all officers and enlist- j J
ed men of the Regular Army, the \
Navy, the Marine Coirps, and the 1 <
National Guard and Naval Militia, j*
while in the service of the United <
States, and officers in the Officers' j1
Reserve Corps while in active ser- j c
vice. 1
Persons not subject to registration j j
on account of being in the military i j
or naval service of the United Statesj (

upon leaving such military or naval 12

An alien who enters the United *
States for the first time after the *
