The child's body was discovered about half an hour later by another driver, who carried it to its | parents' home. The accident happened near the brickyard, and when the news of the driver's act reached the ears of the * laborers in the yard they sought ^ Plushinski and attacked him with f * clubs and stones, breaking one of his I arms and otherwise badly injuring * him.
