Fender, of the Hunter's Chapel section, was in the city last Saturday. He says the people of his section are much interested in the proposed railroad. Seven Calves Born to This Cow. Boston, Mass., Mar. 27.?Seven calves, j perfectly formed, bom to one Durham cow, was the unusual incident recorded yesterday at the farm of Martin S. Hill, j in Pleasant Valley, Methuen. They included four, bulls, weighing 30 pounds evch, and three heifers, 2o pounds each. All the calves died at their birth or immediately after. The cow is a large animal, weighing 1,100 pounds. ^ Cattlemen and veterinaries in Boston and vicinity say the occurrence is unprecedented in their experience.
