hour in the girls' room of the Portland
(Ind.) high school the other morning. As
the numerons fresh young beauties gathered
in the room for their studies there

indicate where they came from. The
principal knitted his brow into a frown.

Nothing occurred when the first, second
and third girls stepped out, but with No.

was with seven others of the girls. "You
girls go straight home and take those
things off," commanded the principal.
Not once did he indicate what or where .
they were, but he knew and so did everybody
else. The girls, blushing, marched
out to a tinkling chorus.
