( The price of cotton is still advancing, e The government crop report, which came a out last Monday, sent the price up with a t bound. The price here today is 11.55, and the receipts of the week are 150 t bales and upwards. It is likely that the a price will go still higher, but if we had any, we'd sell it now without waiting for a a further advance. t ? S Q. Frank Bamberg handles the best buggies and wagons, yet the prices t are reasonable. B '( Rebuked For Carelessness. "I had a peculiar dream last night, i Mary," said a Kansas City railroad man I to his wife, according to the Kansas City Journal. I dreamed that I was appointed agent for our line in San Francisco at double the salary I am now gettine." 1 " " ' t - ?- r. ?_w *i _ ! "How nne," saia nis wne, wuu a siuue. "Yes," continued the man,"and I started out for San Francisco to take the place. At a small station in Kansas, where the train stopped, I saw a dog fight going on and stepped off the car to witness it. The train went on without me and I woke up before I could catch another." | The wife's smile changed to a look 'of J keen disappointment. "Henry," she said, with emphasis, "you have the instincts of a brute. Why didn't you stay on that train and let that dog fight alone? You'll never get a job if you act like that." A FEARFUL FATE. It is a fearful fate to have to endure the terrible torture of piles. "I can truthfully say," writes Harry Colson, of Masonville, la., "that for blind, bleeding, itching and protruding piles, Bucklen's Arnica Salve is the best cure made." Also best for cuts, bums and injuries. 25c at all druggists in Bamberg; Felder & Mat thews, Denmark. . V' . , , b O ? I g b s 3 <-> ?
