The Woman's Foreign Missionary Society of the Methodist church gave an entertainment last Friday evening at the % residence of Mr. Henry J. Brabham, Jr., on Railroad Avenue. A good crowd was present. Delightful refreshments were served, and a guessing contest was the principal feature of the evening. A number of illustrations of advertisements h'ad been clipped from the magazines and prizes were awarded to those guessing the advertisement from which the picture was clipped. Miss Clio Cope won the ladies' prize, and Mr. A. M. Brabham won j the gentleman's prize. The proceeds of J the entertainment go to increase the fund for buying seats for the new Methodist church. .
