Murchison, who was pastor of the Presbyterian church in Bainberg a few years ago, but who is now pastor of Central Presbyterian church at Anderson, has tendered his resignation. He will remove to Columbia about the , V first of Ma)*, where he will establish a religious paper, to be known as the Weekly Visitor. Mr. Decania Dowling was the pleased recipient last week of fifty dollars in gold, H* which he received as a prize. This prize was offered by the Toledo Computing Scale company for the salesman who was first to send in his quota for March. This is quite a victory for Mr. Dowling, as he went into competition with all salesmen of the company. J. M. Dannelly & Son will pay one dollar per hundred for fodder, spot cash on delivery at Ehrhardt. Bamberg brains supplied more matter for the Charleston News and Courier's edition of last Wednesday (including the centennial number) than any other town in the State. Hon. C. Office in Rouis building. On last Sunday Bro. V. I. Masters went to be with Pastor T. J. Sandifer at Pine Grove, Peniel and Shiloh churches away down in Colleton. On the third Sunday Pastor Sandifer probably preaches to a thousand or more people at these three churches, but it takes industrious movement as well as good luugs to endure so much. Bro. Tate is announced to be with Pastor M. L. Lawson at Bamberg next week to preach for him in a series of meetings at the Baptist church. We congratulate Pastor Lawson and his people on securing Bro. The Bamberg Democratic club met in he court house last Saturday afternoon or the purpose of reorganizing, electing lelegates to the county convention, and or other business. President C. \W Garis called the club to order and areorganzation was effected by the election of the ollowiug officers: C. W. Garris, presilent; Dr. J. B. Black, vice-president; C. B.
