This means that bond from the ware- k luseman and the company is re quired and the warehouse and cotton stored are subject to frequent in spection, and that this warehouse must oomply with all regulations of the United .States Warehouse Act. It is stated that the r.ugusta Banks have published their intentions of ac- cepting receipts for cotton from this firm as collateral security on loans, which is placing their stamp of ap- proval on the gilt edge quality qf the Atlantic States Warehouse paper. People 'of this section are invited to ship their cotton to this warehouse and a nominal charge of 25 cents per bale per month,.- or fraction thereof, is charged for storage. 'The Atlantic States Warehouse Company announced that they do not buy cot ton and are not factors, but will ar range for the sal* ot juatomer’s cot ton if so desired.
