MADE IN WILLISTON Main and (’hurrh Streeta IWing Widened; L°t Cleared f(»r Play- Ground. The present council are doing all they can to make Williaton a prettier town. Some months ago, they ac quired the triangular lot on thu Springfield road and have torn down the shacks and cleared this up much to the benefit of the looks of that part of town. Mayor Pro Tern Folk expressed the hope that the ladies of the town would now take charge of this lot and with the hack ing of the town and business ihen make of it a play-ground for the children of Williston.. Overcoming such nostacles as re moving trees, poles, tanks, ami oven of a residence, Main and Church streets are being made very at tractive. In front of the new Ken nedy block of stores and the Farm ers Union Mercantile Co. the* stre-t is being widened which will relieve the congestion in this part of town. Thes«* streets now become a part of the state highway and will be main tained by this department They are being well graded V. I). C.
