Add a tnidespoonful of stock or water,* salt and pep[>er to taste and stew in the casserole until tender. Place cooked vermicelli over .the fop of the dish and garnish with the whole kidneys. Reheat and serve very hot from the casserole. Cauliflower au Gratin.—Cook a iarge cauliflower until tender in hop ing salted water, then drain and dry. Divide into flowerets and [dace In a well-buttered casserole.
