I: *1 e •< * . f . > . \ —t r ’L-- if t / THE BANKERS, MERCHANTS AND FARMERS BUREAU OF BARN WELL COUNTY, CONSISTING OF THE NINE BANKS, WITH., THE MER CHANTS AND FARMERS OF THE COUNTY, HAVE FORMED THEMSELVES INTO A BUREAU, THE OBJECT BEING A CO-OPERATIVE AND MUTUAL AFFAIR IN DIVERSIFIED FARMING FOR 1922. WE FIRST SUGGEST TO THE FARMERS TO IMMEDIATELY PUT THEIR LABORERS TO PLOUGHING UNDER ALL THE COTTON STALKS TO DESTROY THE BOLL WEEVILS AND TO ENCOURAGE THE LABORERS TO REMAIN ON THE FARMS, AND ASSIST THEM IN SOWING WINTER CROPS. WE KINDLY SUGGEST (NOT ADVISE) AS A PLAN TO FOLLOW AN OTHER YEAR THE FOLLOWING ACREAGE OF CROPS, AND WEI THE BANKERS, PLEDGE OURSELVES TO ASSIST THE FARMERS IN SECURING BETTER MARKETS FOR THEIR PRO DUCTS, AND THAT WE ENUST THE ADVICE AND SUPPORT OF THE HOME AND COUNTY DEMONSTRATION AGENTS.. THE NEXT MEETING WILL BE HELD SALESDAY IN DECEMBER. THE 30-ACRE FARM IS HEREBY SUGGESTED FOR FALL OF 1921 and SPRING OF 1922. 7 Acres Cotton. 3 Acres of Melons. 1 Acre of Mutton Corn. 3 Acres of Peanuts. 2 Acres of Wheat. 2 Acres of Oats. 6 Acres of Com. 1 Acre of Cucumbers. 1 Acre of Sweet Potatoes. 2 Acres of early field Peas. 1 Acre of Rye. 1 Acre of Rice.
