Then read how r his Bureau of the Census defines the word:.. “A farm for census, purposes is all the land which is directly farmed by cne person conducting agricultural op- trations, either by his own labor or with the assistance of members of feis household or hired employees.” In further explanation of this defi- r tion the Census Bureau points out tnat the term “agricultural opera tions” is used as a general term re ferring to the work of growing crops, producing agricultural products : ;id raising domestic animals, poultry or bees.
