THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 26, 1918. • RED CROSS DEPARTMENT • • " • We are rUu! that Lyndhurst has published the full and correct list of what she has done in Red Cross work. We stated in the list handed us by our keeper of those records that it was not a perfect list, some items having been lost, and it covered a shorter period than that given last week by the Lynd- hurst secretary. We have been told by headquarters not to cut any more garments, but to wait for certain allotments from At lanta, as there were too many of some garments and not enough of others for shipping, and a more satisfactory re sult can be obtained by filling orders. The surgical dressing class is deep ly in earnest and full of enthusiasm. This work stirs the heart and mind as no other Rod Croas work doae by local chapters can; it brings us face to face with the danger and suffering oar men are up against, and there is s certain to feel that we are actually mak ing the things that will help U cure those horrible wounds, hi fact, with out which they cannot he cured Oor metrurtor Mrs ('hartso Wilson, of AftsndaJe. to up to dale w eeeey rw- spsrl Mre Put Drew has boo apposoted to oufteet and ship to Atlanta ah the half worn gaemonta the gw*oewaMnl • ash- •og bus. to ho aoo4 to hhe OootsaaOe •04 dkooo of ony ssso dhsuAd ho coal to We hod ( suso room oa anuo so puoas Mo The W Cl A wufh tp hthhg tohon up oil sour fAo *«uo<rp ahBBp o ta the T M C A Ah maMaMas sod ah poshoempe of wmaao No nop mho an miosuoi ta Was wus% W« aou ssanui apoewso ss UOe oounap Wee W M hMHWh (Noau Cns h * fWaaaso * m urn rsou os #esp *anf • omnt sue Soo * * f UsAsned teeoasw W ouMh Mm»t. rpeas hm ooeUMp taBaso to has hoWw# • MUnee us M-pU MsoShoS hioei tun pod Wo apos Was ao ah moos pot SMoooe os tsaee Me aosasd ouop ofWe a koto m#«eeop Neas ’ t phovl Seeeo and poowousona Pemams BUosh oee *0*0* ••d *• oar •hueea m ittl Aa • Aimsoa ss Wa sPuseh ho appsod hs ho thao ahd hMl^h* fel Me owe oiuepod 4 huovh ^ Ws% m It JI sod oeeeud ahoas Woeo peastL pe»• «sg muofostoey to oat chaorh ood ah uho Seen BeOS IN uus a true hoohnad a ksud and fcoetag fat hoc and u omo afawyu full «f pood spaaed jo his hoaw Wheerfoee he it ffeooleed by the church m council asoomblod. that to the death of brother Hock oar ( horrh has susiatnod an irrsporahl# lauo Resold od second, that while deploring kis suffering and seemingly untimely death, we bow in humble submission to Hun who doeth all things wall. * Resolved third, that we eitend our heartfelt sympathy to the family in their distress; that s copy of these resolutions be sent to the county pa pers for publicaion and a copy to the family, and that a page in our minute book be inscribed to his memory.
