Section A - The tickets shall be printed on clear white paper in the usual manner, but shall have a coupon at the top perforated so aa to be easily detached. There shall be 50 per cent more ballots than there are voters at each voting place. Section 4. The managers shall be responsible for all ballots furnished. ( When a voter presents himself he shall .be given a ballot The manager in charge of the poll lists shall enter the number of the ballot next the name of ifthe voter. The voter shall forthwith i-etire alone to one of the booths, and without undue delay prepare his bal lot by scratching out the name of the i candidate for whom he does not care to vote. The county committees shall , assemble at their respective court houses on the morning of the second j day after the election on or before 12 o’clock noon to tabulate the returns and declare the results of the primary so far as the same relates to members of the general assembly and county of ficers, and shall forward immediately to the chairman of the State commit tee at Columbia, S. C., the result pf the election in their respective coun-} ties for United States senator, State officers, congressmen and solicitors. The State committee shall proceed to canvass the vote and declare the re sult. 36.
