Duncan. He was accompanied by hii sister, Miss Louise Duncan, the trip being made by automobile. Mr. Nat Bethea, of Wilmington, N. C., spent Sunday in the city with Mr. and Mrs. E. F. Freeman, of Conway, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Duncan, suffered a sudden attack of appendicitis while she and her hus band were visiting in Charleston Sat urday. She was operated on Monday and her friends here hope for her early recovery.
