It is safe to assume that these colored workers can be fully depended on. It should be said that the organization among the colored people has been done by the direction of end under the cooperation of the County Council of Defense. We hav* no more loyal and patriotic workers than our pastors. Among the white Baptists of the county belong ing to th* Barnwell Association the general leadership is assigned to the Rev. J. !). Huggins by the workers un der the Kouthern Baptist Convention. Mr. Huggins is too favorably known to meed any word of praise to Barn well County. In each church he has appointed workers to canvass that church and be responsible for the suc cess or failure of that church In that part of the Savannah River Association embraced in Barnwell County, Major J Anselm Meyer is re quested and appointed to secure in each church ranvaeeers for that par ticular church, and be reepensible for results Pastors of churches of at denominations in the county h their own pinna for A.
