Holman, Esq., as Special Judge to preside over the November term of Barnwell, and C. C. Simms, Esq., has been appointed Special Judge for the Lexington 'Court. Numbers of the people from this city have been attending the revival meeting in Springfield, which is being cpnductd by the Rev. Mr. Andrews, who held such a successful meeting here several weeks ago. Mr. Longstreet Gantt, of Lyndhurst, was in the city Tuesday. Mr. W. I. Johns, of Baldo# was in the city on business Friday. W. Several interesting addresses were made on the subject of woodcraft. Mrs. W. D. Delk and Mrs Zbindson motored over from Augusta recently to visit the former’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. J. Delk. Mrs. Zbindson is a Northern lady who has made her home in the South for the past few years and is especially well pleased with this section of the country.
