Automobile Accident.
Mr. M. C. Lee, of Kline, had a nar
row escape from serious injury Tues
day afternoon when his automobile
ran into a ditch in front of the resi
dence of Mr. J. J. Rush, in this city.
Mr. Lee was thrown out of the ma
chine. being rut about the face and
one hand being injured. Only slight
damage was done to the machine.

Allendale, April 25.—The body of
John O. Walker, Jr M who dies! in a
Savannah hospital last night as result
of injuries sustained at Estill in an
automobile accident Sunday, was
brought to Allendale yesterday for
burial. ^
Mr. Walker had a large circle of
relatives and friends in this com
munity,. ^he^ whs reared and
lived for a great part of his life. He
leaves" his father, John O. Walker,
and two brothers, Sam C. Walker and
F. Marion - Walker. He was a mem-
ber of the Allendale lodge, Knights
of Pythias. His remains were, laid
to rest Tuesday morning at Ml. Arn
old cemetery. He was a member of
Mt. Arnold Baptist church.
