Infested territory was ghurded by* police, and many men and teams woro employed in spraying trees with paris green, etc. Tliese moths arc described as destroying shrubs, vines and even gross iu the field.’ Infested orchards appear burned as by fire. The moths increase with e norm our rapidity, eat for several weeks and trawl rapidly.
