That we cannot express too high regard, ay prcciation and respect for those members of the Barnwell delegation, con scientious in the dischsrge of their du ties, and without regard to their own opininna or preferencca aa to the wiadom or propriety of (lie law, atood upon the high ground that it should not be repeal ed until the will of the people of Barn well county to that end should be ex pressed at the ballot box. The resolutions were unanimously adopted. Dr. Oyjilvie now got the floor and in a most logical manner proved that while prohibition docs not entinly prohibit, it to a very y;raal extent rrs/rsets. Mr. F. il. Creech was called upon and rwponded in a hnppy effort. Liquor received aonie heavy blows at hia b.-.nds. Mr. I. L. Tobin, in answer to a requsat of the chnircrau, made a few remarks in which he expressed himaeli as being heart and soul in (he cause of prohibi* tiou. Moved and carried that the min utas of the meeting be sent for publica tion to the Newa and Courier, the two county papers and the Temperance Worker. Meeting adjourned with dux ology and benediction.
