Poster Contest IsOpenToffigh School Students The South Carolina Division, American Cancer Society, is con ducting a Poster Contest open to all high school students. The rules of the contest 1- Posters may be on any phase of cancer; detection, treatment, warning. Information. 1. The posters may be made of dippings, graphs, pictures or may be painted. A The poster* may not exceed in sise 21 l-2“xl8 1-1”. 4. The poster* are to be Judged upon the idea presented and the medium need.- 5; The name, age, school, ad dress And race of the entrant is t<* be placed In an envelope attached to the back of the potter. 6. Posters are to be submitted to the County Commander of the Cancer Society or to the person whom he or she designate*. 7. County contest to be Judged not later than April 3. 8. The three beat posters .in each county to be entered in the State contest. They mast be re ceived at the State office by April 17. 1960. 9. County prize* are: White, first prize, 87; ' second prize, |5; third prize, IS. Negro, first prise, 87; second prize, 85; third prize, 83. All students entering a poster receive a certificate. .
