But the full day's schedule will be postponed still'another day in deference to the Horse Bowl pa rade and game Monday, the of ficials said. Every school in the county will be dismissed at noon in order that the pupils may take in the Bowl events. Tuesday will see pupils and teachers alike return to the regu lar day-by-day process of getting and giving an education. It had been previously an nounced that schools in many neighboring towns would be closing early on Monday because of the Horse Bowl. 'The small cannon at the head of the cane was made out of bronze from a captured English can non in the revolutionary war. The cane was bought by Dr. ttarnos at a private auction of the estate of the late Dr. Bristoe, who was President McKinley's pastor in Washing ton. Ovens In Bakery An explocion of the Camd s fumes in en Bakery on East De- Kalb street Monday night caused considerable damage to the bake ovens and front of the store building. Fred west, owner and manager of the bakery visited the plant late in the evening and upon r iing the front door detected odor of gas. Mr. West started a large fan at the rear of the bak ery operating land ran it for half an hour. Not smelling any gas he went back of the ovens and attempted to light the ovens.
