Street Methodist church at a meeting of the gen eral committee which met in Wimberley Hall on Tuesday aft ernoon at 4 o’clock. The bazaar will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 9 in the Home Farm Market, next to the Agricultural Building on DeKalb street Luncheon and sup per will be served again this year and the entire affair promises to be even better than the one held at the* same place and same time last year. All officers, circle chairman rod assistant chairman are urged to be present New Ginnery Is Put In Operation The Southern Cotton Oil Com pany started up its ginnery, one of the jnost modern and complete ginneries to be found in the state, this week. Tests were made on some cotton held over from last year. The gin expects to begin ginning new cotton next week. The new ginnery is in an all- steel building, with steel supports and concrete floor, which is fire proof. All of the machinery is of metal. The machinery is power ed with a 200 H. P. motor and all- electric wiring is in c&nduit pipes. The gin has the most modern cleaning machinery available, which will enable it to handle all types of cotton, including machine picked, boley, stripped and snap ped cotton. The outfit was manufactured by the Murray Gin Company. The capacity of the gin will en able farmers to get their cotton ginned quickly. A competent gin crew will be Drive, Columbia.
