The bride's table was covered with an import- red cutwork and laee cloth, with the three-tiered wedding cake, top ped with a miniature bride and groom, at one end. A flower ar rangement of white gladioli and fun, and silver candelabra with white candles, da tried out 'the coldr motif of green and white. Serving punch and cake were the groom’s slaters, Mrs. William Sottille. Mrs. Charles E. Ketchens nad Miss Guy Blackmon. Others assisting were Mrs. W. O. Jones of Martinsburg, W. Va., and Miss Jennie Diamond, who kept the bride’s hook. During the afternoon the bride and groom left for their wedding trip. The bride chose as her traveling costume a two-piece linen suit of pink and navy linen, and uaed white accessories. Mrs. Blackmon was graduated from the Barnwell high schoo 1 , and for two years attended Lime stone College where she was a member of Alpha Delta soroity. She then transferred to Columbia College. There she took a lead ing part in college activities and was on the Dean's honor list. Mr. Blackmon is a graduate of Columbia high school, going from there Into the Navy.
