The two-tiered wedding cake S eed the bride’s table in the din- room. The table was centered with a silver bowl filled with white stattice and peonies and the silver three-pronged candelabra* were tied with miniature corsages of white pom-poms. The punch bowl was presided over by Bliss Katherine Sheorn. Fancy sandwiches, individually iced cake*, salted nuts and mints were served. The cake was cut by the bride and bridegroom. Later in the evening the couple left on a western wedding trip, stopping en route at Colorado Springs, Colo, where Mr. Pitts will attend the National Junior Chamber of Commerce conven tion. They will return home July 1 and will occupy the Pitts small cottage on- Hermitage Lake for the summer.
