DeKalb , street. The doors will open at 10 o’clock on the morning of Nov. 10, and a luncheon will be served at noon with a chicken barbecue supper following from 5 o’clock until 9 o’clock in the evening. Luncheon tickets are 75c and sup per $1.00. There will be 10 booths, each attractively decorated with the many useful and beautiful ar ticles displayed. Aprons of all sizes and description, hand-made baby cloths, dressed dolls, cakes, candies and pies, canned goods, beautiful handkerchiefs and in the novelty booth will be found such useful things as pot holders, dish towels and many other things too numerous to mention. Mrs. Kelly, served de licious refreshments. * • • • • Mis$ Dottie Rosborough Honored At Party Mrs. John K. Lee and Mrs. Karl T. Rosborough of Lugoff honored their niece, Miss Dottie Rosbor ough, bride-elect of November, with a miscellaneous shower at the home of the former hostess on Saturday afternoon. The living and dining rooms . were decorated with many beauti ful chrysanthemums of various colors. The honor guest was pre sented a corsage of white button chrysanthemums and her place was marked with a large bow of white satin ribbon. Several interesting contests were enjoyed and prizes awarded the winners, who in turn pre sented them to the honor guest. The guests were invited into the dining room, where the table was covered with a handsome lace cloth and centered with a basket of flowers, around which were dainty favors of many colors. Chicken salad and crackers, cook ies and punch were served for re freshments. Stokes, Sr, enter tained Sunday afternoon at her home on Mill street at 4 o’clock, honoring her husband on his 72nd birthday. 1 About 50 guests were invited, including Mr. Stokes’ ten children and grandchildren, his sister, Mrs. R. B, Elliott of Cassatt, Robert Elliott and Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Stokes. ' The Stokes home was beauti fully decorated with autumn flow ers of foliage and the tea table was centered with a birthday cake bearing the figure “72”.
