If it is good business to extend a line to take on a near customer, then it is certainly good business to improve a system to take on one hundred new custo mers, especially in view of the fact that the area to be served is very concentrated so the cost per customer to the city will be com paratively small. Beyond the im provements of the electric system we know of no appreciable amount that will have to be spent in this area in the near future “Another important feature U consider is that the way the area is now developed, it is possible at this time to zone the area for an nexation so that the northern por tion of the area to be annexed can be reserved for residential pur poses. Everyone admits that eventually this area, and probably more, will be a part of the city. It would be too bad to have to take this area after it had become so cluttered with little* business tablishments that it could not be properly zoned. “From what information I have, the sale of the Village is going ahead regardless of whether the area comes into the city of Cam den.
