Mrs. G. T. Hendrix will be the principal of the school and Mn Bert Rush will be her assistant Mrs. Hendrix has had experience in working in kindergarten in Charlotte and also in Nursery School in Rock Hill in addition to four yean of specialization in this field at Winthrop College. Mrs. Rush also took kindergarten work at Winthrop College. The kindergarten will be con ducted in the annex building and the children will, have the use of the playground 'facility of the church. “ Fairf ield-Kershaw Negro Scouters To Combine Efforts Negro Scouters agreed to com bine efforts by uniting the Ker shaw and Fairfield divisions at a meeting last month in the office of J. D. Manhall. The first official meeting of the new Kershaw- Fairfield division, led by J. A. Aiken, was held at the Fairfield County Training School Thurs day, September 16 at 8 p. m. Important business of the meet ing was an explanation of the rea sons for the union of the Negro Scouters of the two counties given by Field Scout Executive W. E.
