The wedding music waa rend«> ed by Mrt.rSam Galloway, organist of the church, apd the vocal music given by Mrs. Kobert Croom, Jr., of Maxton, N. C., cousin of the bride. The Rev. G. F. Kirkpatrick, pastor, performed the service using the double ring ceremony. The bridegroom had his father. Dr. G, J. Wilder Fhink, Jr., nephew of the bride, carried the rings on a white satin pillow. ' Given in marriage by her broth er, Linwood Currie, the bride wore an exquisite gown of off-white slip per satin created with sweetheart neckline and featuring a midriff panel which f(vmed a very full skirt and widened at the back into a cathedral train. Her full length, two tier veil waa of Imported .11- luslon~ bordered with heirloom rosepoint lace and fell from a halo of the lace caught at each side with a cluster of orange blouoms. She carried a bouquet of brides- roses showered with tuberoses and centered with a spray of white or- chida The bride’s mother wore navy lace and a corsage of orchids. The groom’s mother wore blue imported embroidered net with a corsage of orchids at her waist. Immediately following the bene diction a reception was held in the parlor ot the church. The bridal table was decorated with a silver bowl of white roses, daisies, and gladioli with silver candelabra at each end. Punch with green Icea, cakes, and mints were served during the evening. Mrs. Lawhon, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Currie, graduated from the R.*L. PHtman School of Nursing of Fayettsvllle and grad uated In surgery from the Poly- cftnle Medical flchooMn New York. At the time of her wedding, she was tniMwvlaor of the operating room of the Camden hospital and instructor of nurses in operating room tedinlqae. Dr. Lawhon Is the son of Dr. and Mr*. G. J. Little of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, per formed the ring ceremony, as- aisted by the pastor. Dr. Frank P. C^iuble. . The candles were lighted by the bride’s brother. Carroll Little. Miss Adele Dieckmann of' Deca tur. Ga.. organist, and Miss Ann CUiSsels of Allendsle gave ’ s pro gram of wedding muilc. The traditional wedding marches were used for the processional and for the recessional. ^ Miss Lillian Little, sidter ot the bride, was maid of honor, with Missea Martha Frye and Betty (Either of Hickory, and Marianna HoUaadaworili of C^lmttoo, Va.-. as bridesmaids, and Healan Justice ojf Raleigh, niece of the bride, aa junior bridesmaids. The maid of honor wore a gown of pink tafieta fashioned 'a-ith fitted basque, flared skirt • and neckline finished with scalloped berthas. A. Clifton McKsin of Camden was best man and ushers were Joe Nelson and Bill Clybum of Camden, and Arthur and William Little, brothers of the bride. The bride’s oldest sister, Mrs. R. H. Jnitics of Raleigh, wore a gqwn of aqua crepe and ^the bridegroom’s mother was dressed ina fandango rose frock. Both wore orchids at tha shoulder. ^ An informal reception was held St the home of the bride’s father after which the couple left foir a wedding trip.
