A cautious bunch, their tendency toward
understatement now and {hen lets ns over*
look some mighty good bets.
About all they wanted to say about their
new Hi-Poised power was that it went
much further than anything elbe they
knew toward controlltng engine vibration
frequencies.
They let us sayjt would make engine sen

That if would donwaywith a lotofthudder

What we did was apply a udioHy new
system.of engine mounting.
IPs a system that suspends the engine,
much as in a cradle. This leaves it<free to
ro(^, bob or “^g its tail” (as every engine
must) — yet maintains firm control of such
niovement at all times and speeds.
Add this to other diings — big, soft tires on
extra wide Safety-Ridn rims) geotld ooH
springs on all four wheels; ample size and
weight to master founce and jitter — and
what do-you'getP
Ac definitely “sweeter” feel to the whole
car. Soft, level going — with firm, sure foot
