There are over 500 grown canaries at the plant and right now over 300 little birds. . “ CANARY PIJVNT IN CAMDEN IS ONE OF COUNTRY’S LARGEST Camden has one enter prl«e of which many people are not aware and that is the Mandel Canary Plant, which is operated by Ed ward Kerrison in a building back of his home at 1507 Fair street. Mr. Kerrison ha« 500 Krown canaries and right nuw has .several hundred young birds. By the end of the year he ex pects to have two or three thousand birds or rather to have bad that many at one time during the year. This is the breeding season and hundreds of litte birds may ho seen getting in the plant now, while many are . nursing thoir^ yotmgslfirs*. Mr. Kerrison has red, yellow, white, deep orchard, apricot, cinnumon and green canaries and he I9 constantly carrying on cross-breeding for different colors. Mr. Kerrison sells his birds all oves the United Statetr and hag had orders from England. He now has inquiries from China and Cuba. Me. Kerrison's plant Is one of the largest canary plants in - \he country.
