Mrs. Hopkins graduated fi;om
the Kershaw High School and at
tended Coker college In Hartsville
and the University of South Caro
lina. While in Camden she‘was a
member ^of the Junior Welfare

Playmaker’s Guild.
Mr. Hopkins, the son of Charles
A. Hopkins and the late Mrs. Hop
kins, is a graduate of Cornell Uni
versity, IthaCA N. Y. He is in busi
ness dn Poughkeepsie in his civil
engineering firm.

Tea For Women
The Junior Chamber of Com
merce is sponsoring a tea for the
women of Camden on Thursday
afternoon, March 4, in the Hunt
room o^ Sarsfield hotel, from 4:30
until, 5:30 o’clock.
This tea, given free by the Jay
Cees, is of utmost importance and
all the women in this cmnmunity
should attend this, affair and avail
themselves of the information re
garding the city management form
