M. C. Morgan, at McBee. She had been In declining health for shout a year but her condition bad not been considered serious. Death was attributed to a heart attack. Mrs. Horton was a native of Be- thune and was a member of the Timrod Baptist church. Funeral fcervicM were held from this church Wedheisday. Surviving are four daugbtere, Mrs. Morgan of McBee, Mw. E. L. Marshall of Charlotte, Mrs. John JofiTea of Bethune and Mw. Wesley Raley of Pageland; ,tour sons, Dortch Horton of McBee. Jack. Vance and Charlie Horton of Wil mington.
