A. Hosier, who epen*. ser- eral months with her children In kichmond, Va., and in Brooklyn, N. Y„ while her house was being bnllL returned last week and is in her modem near brick home. It will be remembered that Mrs. Hosier lost her home with every thing last summer. Mr. and Mrs. Mosler and their twin sons and small daughter ac companied their mother home for a short visit, returning to New York Saturday. Little Johnnie Buchan'celebrated his fourth birthday with a party at his grandparents home. Games were played until they were tired, then a contest was held. Roddy Stanton being the winner. The table was beautiful with its Santa favors filled with candy and the white cake with its decoration and four tiny candles. Cake, ice cream, cookies and candy were served. The gifts were opened and each one played with the toys on the living room floor. Those present were: Nancy, Henry and Caston West, Roddy Stanton, Ba Borers. Jackie Smith and the little honor guest, with aunts and cousins, his parents and grandparents. __Mr8. Steve Bow^s spent Sub* day in Chester with relatives. Misses Betty Jane McCaskill and Barbara McLgren of Columbia spent the weekend here. Mrs. Charles C. Hosier ' and small daughter accompanied by her mother, Mrs. A. E. Hord of Camden, left Tuesday, to visit-tbeir relatives in Florida. L. J. Walters of Van Wyclj spent Monday with his brother, F M. Walters anil Mrs^Walters. Mr. and Mrs. A. B Rosier of Cayce visited her Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Steve C. Wes: and son, Steve, Jr., of Florence, spent the weekend with relatives here. Miss Lucile Hilton one of the grammar teachers af Midway, who has been ill, is able to resume her work here. Mrs. Polly Hall and son, .Terry, spent the Thanksgiving holidays in Dillon. F. J. Tidwell, who has been a patient in the Camden hospital, is better and at home. Mrs. Emmie Marshall spent Sun day with her daughter. Mrs. Jake Smith and family in Camden. Leo West of Conway spent Fri day night with his father. A.’ A. West. Mrs. T. A. Spears of Camden spent Monday with her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. F. M. Walters. Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Vaughn and children of Rock Hill spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. Vaughn.
