Mr. and Mrs. ' Livingston and son, cousins of Mrs, Cutler, | were hlso guests of the day. Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Cooper spent the weekend in Shelby, N. C.. and attended memorial services at ms home church, Grove, Sunday afternoon. * Mr. and Mrs. J. M. VaOghn and three children of Rock Hill were with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. Hyatt and Mr. and Mt's. R. Vaughn for the weekend Mr. and Mrs. Crosby of Charles ton spent Sunday with their daugh ter, Mrs. Nathaniel West. Mr. and Mrs. West are the proud parents of a son. who they have named Nathaniel Wayne, who arrived on May the 6th at the Camden hos pital. Mrs. West is the former Miss Helen Crosby of Charleston and Walterboro. Mr. West Is the young est son of Mr. and Mrs. W. N. West o! Cassatt. Mrs. Lewis Anderson spent sev eral days last week with her son, Boyd Anderson and family and with her daughter. Mrs. Arthur West In Hartsvillp. The members of the Baptist church will serve an ice cream sup* p6r Friday night. About a year ago a few interested young people de cided to have prayer meeting on Wednesday nights. At first about 10 attended and the group decided to divide into two groups and see how many each could get to at tend. The reds won and for the past few weeks they have had about 75 present. The. Woman's Auxiliary of Pine Tree church will meet Wednesday afternoon with Mrs. S. B. Walters. This is to be the Auxiliary birth day party. ' Commencement exercises will be gin at Midway Sunday afternoon. Rev, W. L. Baker of Bethune will preach the baccalaureate sermon. A. West, who visited his daughter in Oxford, N. C., and his son.
