Brannon, 63, Passes Away Mrs. Edith Virginia Brannon, 63, died last week Thursday at her resi dence northeast of Camden after a short illness. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John McCoy and was a native and lifelong resident of this community. She was a member of Beuverdam Baptist church. Mrs. Brannon Is survived by her husband, W. M. Brannon of Cam den; five daughters, Mrs. 8. E. Stokes of North Charleston, Mrs. Raymond Harris, Mrs. B. B. Trues- dale, Mrs. Lewis Lee Young and Mrs. Arthur Brown of Camden, and three brothers, J. B. McCoy of Cam den. H. C. McCoy of Cassatt and C. R. McCoy of Chariots, N. C. Funeral services were held at 4 o’clock Friday afternoon froto the Mt Zion Baptist church conducted by the Rev. J. B. Caston and the Rev. Douglas McAm. Interment fol lowed in the church cemetery. Um Cbroaielw Waal Ads Beulidi Resident Dies At 87 Years Beulah Methodist church Thursday at 11 a. m. The decked leaves two sons, Joseph E- Smith of Jack sonville, Fla., and B. T. Smith of Richmond, Va. Henry Fletcher Smith died at 10:45'a. m., February 4, at his residence in the Beulah community. He was 87 years of age and has been engaged in farming all of his life. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. T, Smith.
