Before entering the -service Tve, Holland was employed by the U. S. Rubber company at Plnevllle, N. C. He also worked in the I^ancaster :ind Kershaw cotton mills. He trained at Paris Island also at Camp I.i^Jeune. N. C. IMvate Holland leaves his widow and three children, Jean. Jane and Patricia, also six sisters and one brother.
