Miss Path is a graduate of Limestone college, where she received her B.S. degree in the class of 1941. PLEASING HOU8EPARTY >S T HERMITAGE LAKE One of the most pleasant and interesting house parties given by Camden young people this season was that prevailing at the Russell cottage on Hermitage Lake the past week $nd which was located at the Russell cottage, with Mr. and Mrs. Russell as chaperones. In this pleasant party were Margaret Salmond, Bland Glover, Halite Clarkson, Sis Springs, Tannle Rockafellar, Nancy Sanders and Betty Blakeney. HENDRIX-McLEOD A marriage of interest to their many friends In Camden and Kershaw county was that of Mrs. Johana Irene Hendrix and# Dalton Lawrence McLeod, both of Camden, which was solemnized Thursday, July 1, at the parsonage of the First Baptist church with the Rev. J. B. Caston officiating. Only the Immediate families and a few close friends were present. Mrs. McLeod is well known here, having operated a tourist home on DeKalb street for many years. Mr. McLeod Is a member of the Auxiliary Military Police at the Southern Aviation school. MONTGOMERY-JORDAN Olanta?Miss Ada Elizabeth Montgomery of Gable, became the bride of Pfc. Forest L. Jordan of Mullins and Mitchel Field, Long Island, Monday morning, July 19, at the manse of the Presbyterian church of Olanta.* The Rev. W. R. Pritchett, pastor of the couple, officiated, using the ring ceremony. The couple was unattended and the bride's mother, Mrs. J. M. Montgomery, was the only attending w i tri0S8 The bride, was attired in aqua crepe with white accessories. Mrs. Jordan is the daugher of Mrs. Lila Plowddn. Montgomery and the late J. M. Montgomery. She is a graduate of the Mayesville high school and Winthrop college. Since her graduation she has taught In the public schools of the state and for the past several years has been a member of the facuKy of the Camden High Bchool. Mr. Jordan Is the son of Mr. and Mrs. E. B. Jordan of Muliins. He received his education at the Raines High school, and prior to entering the .service was engaged in farming.
