N'o d(>K ahull bo allowed to ranKO at larKO within the City llmlta; and all doga within the City limits of Camden ahall be kept upon the premiaea of the owner except when exercised on a leash, or kept otherwise under the immediate control of the owner or keeper. Anyone permitting a dog to run on the City streets without leash, or other effective immediate control, shall be punished by a fine not exceeding one ($1.00) dollar. Section 2. It shall be the duty of the City police, or any person appointed by the Mayor therefor, as far as practical, to capture and Impound all dogs which may be found running tit large within the corporate limits of the City of Camden; and on the capture and Impounding of same.
