The course of training Is designed to teach a "better understanding of people, their problems and Infirmities, how persons grow, what happens when development is thwarted and, processes by which Ideals can shapo personality'." The assignment has been given to Mr. Herbert by the Council for Clinical Training with headquarters In New York City. The pulpit- of Lyttletqn Street church will be filled by visiting mlnathat during the training period two absence. The following program was carried out: Welcome to Parents, Troy. West; Objectives of J. H. A., Charlotto McCasklll; J. H. A. Creed, Sarah Catherine Watklns; Report of F. F. A. chapter, Cleatus Threatt; J. H. A. Song, by J. H. A. girls; Poem, "The Boy That Likes the Country Best, Tommy Horton. The Superintendent and chapter Advisor, Ford B. Stanton, spoke briefly stressing the Importance of cooperation between parents and pupils and parents and school. He emphasized the fact that the school should serve as the center of all community I activities. Mrs. Kathleen B. Watts* County Superintendent of Education, was present and made a few very interesting comments on tho part the school should take in training for citizenship.
