McCarley, suggests these pointers : Animal Husbandry?This is a good month to sell fat hogs. Plant Biloxl soybeans for hog grazing. Castrate I pigs at three to six weeks of age and use pine tar to control screw worm. Give suckling sows all they will eat of a well balanced ration. Shear sheep after the last cold spell and dip entire flock immediately after shearing. Castrate beef calves at four to ten weeks of age, using the "Burdizzo pincers and thus prevent screwworm infestation. Watch for the screw worm cases. Use pine tar on ' the navels of new born animals.. j Dairying ? Continue liberal .grain ration, to cows In milk especially. Interplant plenty of corn and soybeans or plant sorghum and soybeans for ensilage for next winter. Kelley, foreman of the Thousand Springs cattle ranch of Mrs. Minnie Miller, in southern Idaho, saw a strange animal grazing with the herds of blooded stock on the place.
