Win The Bantams of University high from Columbia and tho Camden Bulldogs divided a doublohoader here before a good crowd last Friday night.' The Camden girl's won their gamo by j defeating the Univeriaity girls 37 to j 15, and the Golden Bantams took the I measure of the Bulldogs, 35 to 13. The girls game was Camden all the way with University high being no' match for tho larger and accurate shooting opponents. For Camden, McGuirt with 19 points and Corbett with lt> were outstanding. Henry scored teu for U. H. S. After a slow first half in which the U. H. S. boys appeared sluggish and unable to handle the ball, tho Bantams Vut on a fast breaking exhibition in the second stanza and completely snowed under a small but fighting Bulldog quintet. The score at the half was 13 to 9, University high, but during the second period, U. H. S.'s speedy second team took over and soon had the gamq well under control. Fo rU. H. Tho Camden girls played a aubstltuto team from their own squad Monday night as tho Cheraw girls did not sitow up. In tiie Tuosdny game against Hrookland-Cayeo tho girls from Camden won 55 to 25. Peggy McGurt was high scorer and was given wonderful support by the entire team, the girls playing heads tip basketball. In the boys game Dunn was high scorer and Billy Mullen starred with a nice floor game. The boys squad has several youngsters who have been getting some competitive baptism in tho* last sovoral games, duo to the absence of several regulars from the lineup because of examinations. Shebeen, Tlndal and Sowell have been taking over and have given an excellent account of themselves. They should be tine material for next year's team. Other players in the fledgling ranks who are showing Gp well are Henry Nlles, Freddy Mullen and I>avld Partin.
