The entire tenm which recently won the championship just a few days ago in Orangeburg was given the table of honor with the ball mounted on the silver cup in the center. Coach Small, who also had charge of the program, had as his guest speaker, Matthey Rabon, one of the winners in the state oratorical contest, who gave a very interesting talk on "Do We Want to be Farmers?" The residents of the [ city and county aro urged To bring in exhibits from their gardens. Entries will be received from 9 a. tn. to 11 a. m. The show will be opened to the public from 2 p. .in. to 7 p. m. Richards, Jr. Celebrated Birthday An unusually lovely party was enjoyed Friday afternoon, February 24, by twenty young friends of Carl Iloasonover, who celebrated his fourth birthday at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. M. Reasonover. For the occasion the house was decorated in a patriotic motif. Many games .were enjoyed and Mrs. J. S. Dunn entertained the young guests with stories. The litUe tots inarched Into the dining room singing "Happy Birthday to You." The Washington's birthday motif was also carried out In the | dining room whero ice cream and I cake wore served. The birthday cake j with its four burning tapers and candles In silver holders made the centerpiece for the table. Cherry suckers and red and blue balloons were the party favors.
