Celebrate Anniversary Mrs. Jack Nettles' party Tuesday evening was a lovely affair given In honor of the first anniversary of the Business Women's Circle of Lyttleton Street Methodist church. Members of the Business Women's circle of Bethesda Presbyterian church were the honor guests. The party was given at the home of Mrs. J. Nettles, where Mrs. K. - C. Watts and Miss Helen Whitaker greeted the guests as they I arrived. A very delightful program was enjoyed with Miss Helen Harmau as guest speaker. She was introduced by K?v. A. D. McArn and chose for her subject. "People as My Hobby." Miss Margaret FeWell and Mrs. Beulali Hicks also contributed to the program. In the quiz contest prizes were won by Miss Henrietta Zemp, representing the Methodist church and Miss Margaret Fewel'l for the Presbyterian church. Miss Christie Hey gave the evening's devotional. In the dining room a delightful t^a course was served. Red carnations and red tapers in silver holders centered the table and Miss Henrietta Zemp presided at the tea service. This being the first anniversary of the I Business Women's circle of the Methodist church small Individual whiteiced oakes were served, each bearing one lighted red candle. Prizes were awarded for the series of games ending with this meeting. Miss Lillian Yates and Mrs. Robert Marye were flfst and second high scorers. , Garden Club Notes The Camden Garden Club will meet Monday, February 13, at 4 o'clock, with Mrs. Henry Savage, Sr. The program will be moving pictures of plant growth. A blue ribbon will be awarded the best flower arrangement for center of dining table; second blue for the most unusual garden flower; a third blue for collection of greatest number of blooms in tbe exhibitor's garden. Post To Hold Meeting The regular monthly meeting of the ' James Leroy Belk Post No. 17, American Legion, will be held Monday night, February 13, at 8 o'clock, In the Legion Hall. All members are urged to attend. Visiting Legionnaires and ex-service men are extended a most cordial welcome to attend the meeting. Valentine Tea Tomorrow The Woman's Auxiliary of Grace Episcopal church will be hostesses at a Valentine* Silver Tea on Saturday, February 11, from 4 to 6 o'clock In the Woman's Exchange tea room, on Laurens street. With the Camden Hunt meot on Friday the Virginians' Horse Show on Saturday, polo on Sunday, the Nuhter Trials on Monday, polo again on Tuesday, and the Camden Hunt meet on Wednesday, this reaort will play host to many New Yorkers and Vlrginans who follow the Jumpers on their circuit. The Virginians' Horse Show, according to J. North Fletcher, prominent ypung Warrenton, Virginia, sportsman, promises to be more successful than any previous year.
