Busbee, superintendent of the school, welcomed the group and commented on tiie agriculture work in the school. He introduced the visitors which included trustees K C. Ktters, Sam C. Truesdale, H. L. Stnyrl, J. W. Sowell, F. N. Gay, R. H. Young and P. A. McDowell, Mrs. Kathleen B. Watts, county superintendent of education; Senator Murdoch M. Johnson: H. E. Saveley, director of the Chilean Nitrate Educational Bureau; and J. L. Sutherland, state department of education. The "Ladies Committee" for the banquet, consisted of Miss Willie McComb, homo economics instructor; and Mesdames S. C. Truesdale. J. II. Clyburn and Burl Truesdale, mothers of F. F. A. members. Three Killed in Lee County Auto Crash Biahopville, Dec. 9.?An automobile accident near here today killed three persons and lnjnrod two others, seriously. ' The dead are Mr. and Mrs. Zelia L. Casey, of 13 Main street, Andover Mass., and John Addison, 68, a negro, of near Bishopville. Injured were the Casey's young daughter, who suffered a broken arm and other Injuries, and Cecil Peeples, of Blshopvllle. Miss Casey was taken to a hospital In Florence. Peeples, who was less seriously Injured, was taken to a Hartsvllle hospital. Police Officer C. V, Smith, of Blshopvllle, said he was Informed that Peeples. alone In his car, tried to avoid hitting Addison, who was walking on the highway, and the two cars crashed. The Caseys were on their way home from Florida. The accident occurred about 4:30 In the afternoon.
