Ross Hambright of the Antiocli section very clearly demonstrated that beardless barley can be profitably produced in this county. Last fall he planted two bushels per acre of seed, used 300 pounds of 10-4-7 fertilizer per acre and some stable manure, and this spring on eight acres he harvested 587 bushels of barley, or 73 1-3 bushels per acre.
