Mo Williams, newspaper writer from the Wisconsin metropolis came Into the Camden Chamber of Commerce Tharsday evening to enlist the aid of a Chamber operative In finding accommodations for the night they were amazed and delighted to find an old friend and aport world buddy greeting them. Some fifteen years ago Paul Stothard was one of the greatest pro basketball players In the country and frequently played against a team managed by Frank H. Heath, present Camden secretary. Heath had such nationally known players as Fogarty, Holman, Lapchick and others on his team which played 120 games in a season, traveling from New York city to Calgary, Canada/ and losing but three games. Stothart was referee in many of the games. Mr. and Mrs. Stothart and Mr. and Mrs. McWjlllams remained in Camden for several days. Edward Stuplos, sporting editor of the Buffalo, N. Y. Times, has aHked far reservations and will give his personal version of the classic. Another big time writer, Murray Tynan of the New York Herald Tribune, has sent word of his intention of being present. Tynan is rated as one of the outstanding- turf writers in the country. Phillips of the Washington Post, is another leading sport scribe who is arranging to be on hand and the Washington Star is aleo sending down a special writer.
